The Tokamak and the Russians

The Tokamak is a donut shaped configuration of magnetic field. Magnetic field lines provide a force that squeezes the plasma, the hot gas off and holds it in the middle. This turns into a sort of ungovernable plasma unless you find a way to govern it. The Russians found a way with the eyes I understand it.
