The Importance of Rigorous Interventions
I feel like at the moment this field is, aside from probably also serving its intellectual needs, mainly a spoiler subdiscipline. So I think the incentives are not perfectly aligned for us. Rigor would help and it's just hard to do. And then the societal contribution is kind of to, well, what I meant to spoil other fields. If we think about these interventions that are more encouraging to some extent, how could those be designed or how could they be communicated more sophisticated in future?
