How Well Will Trend Falling Do in 2023?
Niels Bremner: I don't know how well or how badly specifically trend falling will do in 2023. But my own thesis is really that we've entered a world of de-globalization, which has an impact on inflation itself. So one of the things I'm looking for is just that inflation in itself will stay at a much higher base level than what we've seen before in the last couple of decades. And I think that creates an environment that should be over time attractive for strategies such as trend following. Alan Hargrave: It's definitely an environment characterized by more dislocations in markets at the moment.
