How I Loved the Lord's Prayer
Kim Stanley: I came to love this prayer by sitting in church services from other Christian traditions. She says the Lord's prayer was a lovely pattern that Jesus had given us for how to pray, but to be very careful not to repeat it vainly like those other Christians do. "We don't recite prayers verbatim" is an incorrect use of the Lord’s prayer, she adds.
