Survey found most houses had access mainly to appliances that the male genders in the household preferred. The implication was you can't make sure quality happens with energy access unless you look at usage and usage seems to be influenced by power dynamics. And there was definitely notions from female respondents that they get access to more information leisure but very few of them felt they actually get to do what they want.
