The Twist That Makes No Sinn

Bent is an auditor and he's a very good thorough auditor. Most auditors don't take months to go meet people offsite and verify accounts. Bent is corroborating, he's cross-referencing documents, he's functionally being a reporter. His audits are really involved. It can take a lot of time, so you would spend some months. But that's a best-case scenario. And it's not because all these other auditors are stupid or lazy or evil. They just don't get paid a lot.
