The HTC Desire, the HTC X and the Headless Box

The X had a locked bootloader from Verizon, you know, with two years of contract. It just was exactly what Motorola, Google and Verizon wanted it to be. I think in a way it even taught me about digital freedom in that I couldn't take those things off when I finally went to the Google activity log for the first time. That phone is important because it teaching me about digital privacy and that I had none of it as well. One was the HTC Desire, the first one and it's the complete opposite of that, it was because I did everything on it. And yeah, I just modded the hell out of it and I was on XDA.
