Don Gaudy's Sentence to Life in Prison
Don gaudy earned the nickname after escaping unscathed from three high profile trials between 19 85 and 19 90. The law finally caught up to him in 19 92 when he was found guilty in connection with the assassination of mob boss paul castellano back in december 19 85. Goddy, who was known for his ruthlessness and furious temper, was also known for his colorful way of dressing, which earned him a second nickname, the dapper dan. After john gaudy's sentence was announced, about 800 gaudy supporters stormed the brooklyn court house, chanting, set gaudy free.
