The Gospel Story of the Wedding Acana
Luke's gospel tells us he begins his public ministry when he's 30. What was jesus doing? Jesus was providing for all the people theyre at the wedding feast When there was a time of lack, like they ran out of wine. And so he needed to provide an abundance of wine just like joseph in the old testament provided an abundance of grain in a time of great lack. In this scene, they invite us to trust without hesitation, to trust even when you can't see clearly what's the purpose of this. It reminds me of something mother angelica once said: unless you're willing to do the ridiculous, god can't do the miraculous.
