The Carbon Footprint of Nuclear Power
Nuclear power supplies about 10% of the world's electricity. It wasn't always that way in the 1950s it was zero because we didn't have nuclear power plants. Today by far the biggest use of nuclear energy is an electricity generation and I want to spend the rest of my talk discussing that particularly in the context of climate change.
