The Line Between Health and Other Values Is Not Clear

In the book, i question that assumption. The line between modifications for health and modifications for other purposes is not as clear as we might hope. One example i discuss is male circumcision which in the usa. Is understood as something that is a health benefit. In the u k, it's not a culturally normal practice, and it's not understood as having anything to do with health. So if somebodyis blind, if there was a way of modifying the body to get rid of that condition, they would embrace that procedure. And so general it's not part of my argument to say that people do anything wrong if they seek modification,. Whether that's for health, for appearance or any other
