The Importance of Belief in Teachers

Teachers matter, my belief in the students was a really big part of that. My skill as a teacher mattered and my supervisor's belief in me mattered. I think there are ways that we can train teachers to do better at what they do but it's not there yet. We may evaluate people without thinking about how skilled and effective their teacher may have been.
