Is the Russians Throwing Out Their Playbook?
The russians have thrown out their play book right in the last week. This is a level of violence and an overt aggression from them that we've not seen at any time in the post soviet period. The political military strategy they're pursuing is causing significant damage here. There is a real issue in the minds of vlademir putin and others about the encroachment of nato into russian borderlands. Riht, they want to actually project power beyond their borders in order to have some kind of a buffer. And remember, these guys have been invaded from the west four times in the last 200 years.
