In your new book on money and possessions you point out how the Ten Commandments are an alternative Constitution Contrasting with the commands of Pharaoh. It's almost impossible to talk about being a resistance movement if you don't have a clear picture of the system Against which we are resisting, says Dr Brivigan. So that I think is the kind of the large scale picture of Both Israel and the early church being something like resistance communities or alternative communities.
