Maudock's Temperament and Moral Philosophy
I think of Maudock as in moral philosophy, a sort of objectivist. So I don't think I was arguing against her on the grounds that we need some objectivism in there. And so one way to take the quote from Maudock about temperament is precisely to think that people's individual characters, temperaments, push their philosophical thinking in certain directions - which does suggest something more personal than just self-knowledge and reflection.
