Having regular contact with people that we enjoy being around is so critical to our well being and potentially our longevity. People who are socially isolated have worse antivira response, meaning they are more actually prone to getting sick with viruses. So in one california study, people who are socially isolated, weare three times more likely to die prematurely than people who are not isolated.
