The Brittleness of Linked Data

When someone changes the URL on some resource or upgrades their API, you smash a whole load of different services across the board overnight. And we saw that a couple of years ago when the US government shut down and actually all their dot gov website shut down with it during that shutdown. There's really no policing of how accurate that information is. Which is true, of course, of any content on the web. It's up to you use at your own risk.
