Are Businesses in a Pickle?
Is there a role for businesses in trying to calm things down and try to lower the tone or the temperature of the rhetoric? Or do they face the threat of being accused of taking sides? I think businesses are in a bit of a pickle. The real signals here when it comes to the economics are, you know, China is still hugely hugely embedded and connected within global supply chains. Decoupling is not as easy as you're snapping one's fingers and certainly won't take place over three to five years.
