In July 2023, a retired Air Force major testified before a congressional subcommittee that the US government has been aware of “non-human” activity since the 1930s. According to the former intelligence officer’s testimony, the US government has found and attempted to reverse-engineer unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, as they are commonly known.
