Catholic Social Teaching and Voting
Catholic social teaching does not fit into either of our political parties, doesn't fit neatly into them. There are elements within the Republican platform that are deeply congruent with the Catholic view as the democratic platform. So therefore you've got to make a judgment and conscience. You have to look at the issues that are most of lively is concerned. But I think it's a very high responsibility within our democracy.
