Paul Malcolm McDowell had his eyes clamped open for real with those steel clips. He got bored naturally and he sort of moved because he had to stay really still in that scene. One of the clips scrapes his cornea and you know, so it's pretty horrific. Again, I don't think you get that now. No, modern film sets with safety and all of that. Absolutely.
