What's a Franchise, Ind What Isn't?

Venom, let there be carnage, came out in movie theatres and has done surprisingly well. The prequel to the h b o series, the sopranos, came into theatres and didn't get very good reviews, flopped at the box office. And i feel like that says something about what's a franchise and what isn't. I don't it's funny, i think people thought that movie was going to do gang busters numbers. And i i never did. A lot of soprano spans aren't necessarily trying to go watch anny movie. There seems not a disconected thinck between suprebs the soprano sas a show
