Hacking Back

Hacking back is still very much illegal to try and hack back at a group that is hacking you. I don't think that Congress in its current kind of makeup, particularly with Democratic Senate and a Republican House will take it seriously. Even relatively uncontroversial or straightforward cybersecurity regulations like incident notification for critical infrastructure are contentious issues. Could you see companies going down that road and saying, "We're just going to take it on ourselves"
