There is definitely a lot of opportunity to use these in a negative way. I think if you are honest, it is fine to use story to sell your product. Really it comes down to do you trust the person tha yu're buying from? If you trust that they really do have your best interests at heart... i will spend a bunch of on apple products because i aline with the company's values and vision.
