The Left's Frustration With Labour's Success in Scotland

The Labour Party has been enormously successful in Scotland. In 1966, they did almost win 50% of the votes. They've absolutely dominated in first-past-the-post elections. But it's worth wondering how much of Labour's success is to do with people being socialists. How radical are the Scottish people themselves? And I would say, not very radical, at least in socialist terms,. The S&P have gradually supplanted them across those central belt seats.
