HoloViz is a browser-based tool for visualizing data. It can look at millions, hundreds of millions of data points quickly in the browser. The app uses server-side aggregation to aggregate this data as you're assuming and pan around. And then once you're there, you can save it, you can share your notebook, or you can dump it into multiple locations.
