The University of Michigan is trying to get more minorities into its colleges. The school argues that a top 10% system like Texas uses won't work in all states. Justice Jackson: If you just use socioeconomic status, it won't have all this messy, invidious potential race discrimination. He says the whole problem with this may be that not enough white students are getting admission.
