CNN's John Sutter says he used a thermal printer to print fake return addresses. He then sealed the packages in vacuum seal bags and put them inside visual barriers. This way, if law enforcement or postal employees stepped on it, they would not be able to tell that someone had been packaging drugs for them. The final product is still opaque so you can't see through all these layers of plastic what it actually is.
