In late march, we began hearing reports about thousands of angry protesters gathering in the provincial capital of hannan province. Several banks had absconded with depositors money and couldn't give it back. More than a thousand people gathered on the street, and they were met by people from the security forces. We've seen vidios of quite violent clashes where protesters are being dragged around and punched. This is also attracted lot of attention in terms of financial stability this year in China.
