How the Fuck Did I Read the Second in a Series?

Devi says she has read a book and been like, oh, that's the series. And it ends on some sort of cliff hanger on like, what the fat? She also believes readers are more likely to buy a book if it isn't advertised as the first in the series. We're going to have next week off from reading so we can focus on other topics.
