The Risk of Acquiring Aplastic Anemia
Dr. Bisser: One of the biggest mystery in aplastic anemia is an award triggers this disease. The other clear predisposing factor that is often more transient is pregnancy, he says. He asks if you always check for a P&H clone when you're seeing a new patient and how does that impact your management or choosing treatment? "Less than 10% I do this, up to 50% of a P & H clone I do that," Dr. Bissers answers.
