The Strength of the Suburbs in Shopping Centers
Bridgewater Commons, a big New Jersey mall once worth almost 600 million. If this mall muddles through and bondholders are made whole, this would just be an extraordinarily positive story for the CMBS market. It's other asset classes have fallen out of favor if you just look at the transaction activity. But I think people are pretty bullish on retail in these good suburban cities.
