There was an element of that that's inevitable, but whether they were actually killed is not as pervasive. And so he does talk about the cases that we do know of where people were killed. He says that there was usually a couple random cases, and then there would be like a one huge case of like 26, 27 people that were found. But it was usually like these big huge scandals, and then it would go away for a while. If it wasn't sodomy, it was really when the later in history, when you get into it, where if they weren't convicted of the crime of sodomy specifically, there was usually something else that was after that.
