Tristan's Death and Mutilation in Frankfort
Tristan's murder and mutilation took no longer than 15 minutes. A single bloody footprint was found at the scene of the crime, which led police to theorize that it belonged to Tristan's killer. Police consulted a criminal psychology profiler who said there was a big chance that Tristan knew his killer in some capacity. On April 7th of 1998, Frankfurt police received a call from a payphone located in the Housh train station where Tristan had been sighted just hours before he was murdered. The caller simply replied, this is Tristan's murderer speaking and told the officer they wished to turn themselves in.
