The Importance of Taking Care of Elders
I wanted to ask you about anticipatory grief, because in your case, as in mine, something is coming. And with your father, it was obviously very different because with your mom, COVID hits. I think probably the most emotional part of your book for me was you not being able to get there for her. You know, we are often left kind of alone and without all the support and resources that we do need. It's a story of my family's like struggle and resistance against systems that didn't serve us or make us more resilient than we would have been.
