Optimize Against an Objective

When you think about these automated lives from materials for cures, effectively to diseases, I mean, it's one gigantic machine run by an AI. It's more like optimize against an objective, trying to do better than humans have been able to discover so far. So there may be a lot of solutions to a problem and sometimes you just need one solution that's optimized. Sometimes you really need to have as many of them as possible.
