Degrees of Corroboration
Pauper's concept of degrees of corroboration is important. He originally alled it degrees of confirmation, but dropped it because he was dealing with the vienna circle and they thought that meant proving a theory true. But if you go look up the word con mation and the word corroboration, you will find that they are absolutely synonyms of each other. We really want this concept of testing something strongly and corroborating it through tests. It is somehow very important. If we start allowing adhawk theories, pauper's epistomology breaks down entirely.
