Is John Knox a Galley Slave?

There's definitely an appetite for kind of confrontational lyricism in the way that people kind of approach one another and approach literature at this point. He seems to have been loud and aggressive, very personal often in his attacks upon people. I think perhaps the biggest conflict that sort of shapes our perception of Knox and certainly has the biggest cultural impact is his antagonistic relationship with Mary Queen of Scots. There's a big moment here that comes after the siege, which could be the end of one of our episodes. Of course. Which is sort of his con- Douglas moment.
