This is our dream being dreamt from unconscious dynamics in our own minds, which are often much darker than we realize on the conscious level. And so the human experience often manifests in extreme brutal forms of suffering. But it's because we don't realize what's locked away in what the course calls the shrouded vaults in our minds.
