YouTube Algorithms - What Do You Think About Them?
The findings validate the basic expectation that more or less these algorithms give YouTube viewers more of what they want, but it doesn't go deeper down a rabbit hole. If you have it really, if you are into right-wing politics after a few weeks on YouTube, you're not going to be seeing like crazy white identarian politics just because you've been watching some basic conservative politics. Like that dynamic does not occur. It's just it tries to give you a little bit more of what you already showed you like. That's pretty much it.
