What Is a Mitochondrial DNA?
Bacteria have mitochondria, but they make it across their membrane. So does that mean that air has to come from a gram negative bacteria? Well, I don't know how old gram negative gram positive bacteria are. Because there's no mitochondria that lives by itself as far as I'm aware. And is that where we get the DNA from your mother? Through that method, mitochondrial DNA.
