Nisab literally in the Arabic language it means a threshold. Nisab is this threshold of wealth that must be owned before zakah becomes obligated on any particular asset and what i want to be clear about is that there's different thresholds for different types of wealth assets so wealth agriculture and livestock each have their own nisab. The idea of a howl howl again refers to the the period of time which in this case is a lunar calendar one lunar year uh that one has to hold that particular asset for it to be zakah-table. So some items have the condition of the passage of a lunar year where others do not.
