Jesus is what we're talking about when people want to say in the Synoptic Gospels, Jesus here is claiming to be God. The one that people point to most frequently is a little bit difficult to unpack but it's the passage in Mark chapter 2 where Jesus is in a house. And he looks at the man and he says, your sins are forgiven. Well, who's given him the authority God has?
