The Greek Alphabetic Numerical Numerics
The convention in written english is to start a new sentence with a capital letter. But the numbers, there's simply one set of numb there's not a capital. And so if you're accustomed to seeing capitals at the start of a sentence, well, you don't have an option with the number. You can't make the three and 365 bigger. That would definitely be weird. Put a top hat on it. Maybe some er. Other places have writing systems that include hats? Well, there are certainly systems for e in the greek alphabetic numerals.
