The Congress as the Binding Force in an Opposition Alliance
Nithish Kumar is working very steadfastly on that. But at the regional level, there are leaders like Adi Ranjaj Jaudhri who do not advocate an alliance with Manta Banerjee and they would rather go with the left in India. So it may be a weak link but they would need a national kind of presence to consolidate their alliance. If the BJP's tally has to go down, it will go down in these states.
