If you're going into recession, you don't want to be in cyclical sectors. I would be a bit worried about hotels going into economic downturn. They've enjoyed extremely high occupancy for quite some time now. And so that my fear is that most of that benefit that they've enjoyed over the last couple years has been driven by leisure travel.
As much as we love stocks, sometimes the Big Macro really does drive the market.
