The Importance of Justices on the Supreme Court
Bob Barnes: The two things that you hear the most about are expanding the court or limiting the terms of the justices. He says it would be easy, not easy, but it would certainly be within Congress's power to change the number of justices on the Supreme Court. One idea would be that they would serve for 18 years, which once it was fully operational would mean that a president gets to appoint every justice.
