Ralisha was a second grader at Faraby Hope Elementary School. She came to school unwashed, normally hungry, and typically wearing dirty clothes. This quickly became something that her teachers knew about her. And luckily, she had good teachers that helped her out. They gave her clothes, food, made sure that she got clean. Her cheerleading coach Shannon Smith often was the one bathing her, doing her hair.
