Are Certain Fellowships Leaning Toward a Genre?

Writers get into writing because we are a chosen as writers, and that' sort or brain works. We also think that some one's going to see us, they're going to see our story. So much of this is the effort to just not do what people want you to do. The contests are looking for good writing within the first five to 15 pages. You know? And so really focus on making sure that you're getting across what you need to get across in those first 5 to 15 pages,. Because you want the reader to keep reading.
