The Valuation Correction of Indian Startups
Last week we saw a lot of valuations get corrected, right? And this included the likes of Baiju, Swiggy, Ola, Oyo, etc. Most recently, US-based investment research firm, New Burger Berman has marked on the valuations of two Indian companies. Roshan: It's a taste of reality. A lot of the IPOs that happened in 2021, the investors had led around at some ex-valuation and then instantly that valuation became 2x or 3x in the public markets.
